Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS)

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer on a 10-year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally. Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps. Deploys OpenShift to new sites as they come online. Works with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them. Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions. Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack. Compiles detailed documentation. Clearance Required TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly. Degree and Years of Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 5-8 years Developer experience. Required Certifications Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA. Required Skills US Citizenship Required. Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment. Experience with Amazon Web Services. Python, Shell scripting, Git. Linux distributions RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS. CI/CD orchestration tools GitLab CI, Jenkins. Container technology Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.
