PDW Accounting Manager

Essential Functions as the Professional Driver Workforce (PDW) Account Manager:
- Maintain separate General Ledger for PDW including GL entries for revenue cost of sales treasury transactions and any intercompany charges related to A/P
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations as support for PDW trial balance
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for PDW entity
- Assist with ad hoc reports and analytics as request by President of PDW
- Provide oversight of weekly payroll process and supervise/backup payroll specialist
- Prepare information related to taxes audits etc.
- Serve as Accounting lead for Paycor software solution
- Assist Elwood Staffing accounting team as needed to support consolidation
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Perfo r m such other accounting financial or administrative tasks as may be from time to time by
- the CFO VP of Finance or supe r visor
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelo r s degree in Accounting and/ or equivalent years of expe r ience and training
- Proficient in Excel pragmatic problem-solving skills
- Strong and demonstrated organization skills detail o r ientation and confidentiality
- Ability to communicate (w r itten and verbally) with all levels of company and outside contacts
- Able to read and inte r pret financial data related to responsibilities
