Asset Coordinator

JOB TITLE: Asset Coordinator JOB LOCATION: Varies REPORTS TO: Yard Manager FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt The Asset Coordinator plays a central role in auction operations. They accurately document auction items to prepare for sale and work on-site after the sale to ensure both sellers and buyers have a positive experience. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of farm/heavy equipment is helpful Possess andmaintaina valid driver’s licenserequired. Position includes operation of company vehicles; applicants must meet company driving and insurance eligibility requirements. PRIMARY DUTIES Organize and tag items for auction Move heavy equipment or vehicles as needed during the cataloging process Take photos and upload to the auction management website Create accurate and detailed descriptions of auction items Leverage AI-assisted tools to identify items, generate accurate descriptions, and validate make, model, year. VIN, and condition where applicable Help customers locate their purchases Assist in safely loading and unloading of auction items during pick-up and drop off Act as cashier at off-site pick-up Be visible during open houses, providing service to customers as needed Other duties as required and assigned SKILLS Attention to detail Proficient with modern technology and AI-assisted tools (image recognition, asset identification, automated cataloging) to accurately identify, describe, and value assets Written communication Multi-tasking Customer service Time management PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT Regularly outdoors in all weather conditions Regular walking, standing, stooping, climbing and crouching for long periods of time Must be able to lift 30+ pounds Work near moving mechanical parts, loud noise, explosives, and hazardous materials #J-18808-Ljbffr Hansen Auction Group
