Ensures sterility of procedure rooms and instruments. Assures compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, and other quality assurance standards.* Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments by reading appropriate books, journals, and other literature and by attending educational programs and other related activities.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS and/or REQUIREMENTS*** Registered (RMA/CMA) graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.* One year Medical Assistant experience required; OB/GYN preferred.* Demonstrated computer literacy.* Excellent organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to deal with sensitive information requiring discretion and independent decision making.* Demonstrated initiative and ability to work effectively and efficiently under deadlines, high volumes, and multiple interruptions.**LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS**3.
