Medical Receptionist Arlington VAPay From: $22 Per HourMUST: 3+ years of experience in a multi-physician specialty practiceFlexible to work 27-30 hours per week and more if neededFlexible to work every other SaturdayScheduling procedures or surgeriesChecking patients in and outExperience pre-authorizing procedures and handling pre-certsAbility to process referralsVerifying insuranceAnswering phone callsTaking detailed phone messagesMust have strong-EMR experienceStrong scheduling experienceMust be able to work in a fast paced environmentDUTIES: The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following:Answer phone callsRespond to inquiriesObtain pre-authorizations and pre-certs on various proceduresSchedule appointmentsRespond to inquiriesProcess referralsCheck patients in and outForward calls to appropriate contactEnter patient information into EMRProvide customer serviceAssist patients as neededQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
