Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation position in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license for night shift coverage.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting
• High neurological patient population, including stroke patients
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required, specifically Friday and Saturday nights
• Sundays are considered part of the regular work week, with some scheduling flexibility available
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Stroke certification is a plus but not required

Additional Information

• Unit functions similarly to a medical floor; Heparin drips are not administered on this unit
• Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
• Accurate medical record documentation is expected
• Participation in continuing education is expected
