FP&A Analyst

FMX is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. You will report to our Manager of FP&A and primarily assist in financial reporting, go-to-market analysis, and corporate planning. Specifically, your focus will be on supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis, and assisting cross-functional teams through go-to-market reporting and annual planning.

Responsibilities:

As the FP&A Analyst, you will:

• Maintain and update financial models, forecasts, and budgets with accuracy and attention to detail
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for management and stakeholders
• Track and maintain SaaS metrics, ensuring data integrity across sources
• Identify and flag inconsistencies in models or reports and escalate appropriately
• Support cross-functional teams, including management, with ad hoc financial analysis
• Serve as decision support for each department and contribute to growth strategies and mid to long range planning
• Build working knowledge of the company's systems, data flows, and reporting cadences
• Leverage AI tools and workflows to increase the efficiency and quality of analysis
• Communicate clearly on task status, data questions, and preliminary findings

Requirements

Preferred Experience & Qualities:

What are we looking for in this role?:

• 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, public accounting, or a similar analytical role
• Demonstrated ability to understand how decisions around revenue and expense impact the Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows
• Strong knowledge of GAAP standards, general accounting practices and procedures, financial analysis, and end-to-end business processes
• Strong knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, with sophisticated modeling abilities
• Direct experience using AI to enhance reporting and analysis
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and planning skills to work effectively with team members at all levels
• The ability to work on routine assignments following established procedures with minimal direct supervision
• Integrity in your work and a willingness to embrace productive discomfort while being professionally curious

Nice to Have:

• An understanding of SaaS business models and SaaS metrics
• Experience working in a private equity-backed or high-growth SaaS environment
• Experience working with data across multiple systems (such as ERP, CRM, and data platforms) and integrating inputs to support financial modeling and reporting

• Offer & Onboarding : Candidates who receive an offer will be required to complete a background check prior to onboarding. New hires are also expected to work onsite at our Columbus, OH office during their first week to complete onboarding and connect with the team in person.

  Compensation:
• The base salary for this position is $75,000-80,000 with additional bonus potential.
