Position: VP of Finance, Corporate Development Compensation: $180K – $250K base + equity Locations: San Francisco, CA or New York, NY Employment type: Full‑time About the role The VP of Finance, Corporate Development leads corporate development at Corgi, operating at the intersection of finance, strategy, and growth. In this role you will partner closely with leadership on financial planning, capital strategy, fundraising, and evaluating strategic opportunities, using finance to shape company direction and drive high‑stakes decision‑making. What You'll Do Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long‑range modeling. Partner with leadership on strategic and capital allocation decisions. Support fundraising and financing strategy. Manage investor and board‑related financial materials. Evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic opportunities. Build models and analyses to support growth and decision‑making. Analyze company performance and identify strategic risks and opportunities. Help shape company strategy through financial insight and analytical rigor. Build strategic finance capabilities as the company scales. Lead high‑priority cross‑functional initiatives. What We're Looking For 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or senior finance leadership. Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills. Experience with fundraising, capital strategy, or investor‑facing finance. Strong communication skills and executive presence. Strategic thinker with sound business judgment. Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments. Experience in venture‑backed or complex businesses preferred.
