Seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate in-home caregiver for a senior female client in Sacramento.

This is a consistent one-on-one private-home caregiving opportunity with a friendly, positive client who currently uses a walker and requires assistance with mobility, personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities.

Schedule

Consistent 24-hour shifts are available:

• Thursday & Friday, or
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Choose the 2-day or 3-day schedule based on your availability.

Engagement Type

1099 Opportunity

Compensation

$335 per 24-hour shift + bonuses

Consistent weekly schedule for the right caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Assist with walking, transfers, repositioning, and mobility
• Provide shower and bathing assistance
• Assist with toileting, dressing, and incontinence care as needed
• Prepare meals and snacks and encourage proper hydration
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care
• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment
• Complete clear and accurate shift notes
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, mobility, behavior, or care needs
• Communicate professionally with the family and care team

What We’re Looking For

The ideal caregiver is:

• Experienced in senior care and hands-on personal care
• Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility
• Comfortable providing shower and bathing assistance
• Patient, compassionate, and respectful
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent
• Detail-oriented and observant
• Comfortable working independently in a private-home setting
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally
• Looking for a consistent, ongoing caregiving opportunity

Requirements

• Previous professional caregiving experience is required
• Experience with personal care, mobility assistance, and transfers
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Professional references
• Ability to successfully complete a background check

Preferred, but Not Required

• CNA or HHA certification
• CPR/First Aid certification
• LVN experience or training
• Hoyer lift or total-assist transfer experience
