Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs.

• Perform thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to establish a comprehensive understanding of each client’s psychological and emotional challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that include appropriate coping strategies, social skills training, and anger management techniques.
\n
• Guide clients in improving decision-making skills and managing behavioral issues within their home environment.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support and intervention for clients and their families.
\n
• Complete all necessary documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, within established deadlines.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and submit mandatory weekly updates to promote team cohesion and operational effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will provide critical services to a diverse population of adults experiencing various mental health issues. Our clients often come from different backgrounds and present a range of exceptional needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Understanding the unique circumstances of each client is central to building a therapeutic alliance that fosters trust and open communication.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field, along with relevant licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).

• Clinical mental health training that prepares you for direct therapeutic interventions.

• Willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training if not already certified.
\n
• A minimum of one year of post-internship field experience working with adults in a clinical capacity.

• Competence in developing treatment plans, establishing treatment goals, and writing detailed progress notes and initial assessments.

• Familiarity with various counseling methodologies such as CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Ability to use the DSM-V for accurate assessments and diagnoses of mental health conditions.
\n
• Experience in providing positive behavior support in therapeutic settings is essential.

• A current resume, along with copies of licensure and your master’s degree, must be submitted in the application.
