Join Our Exciting Team as a PCU RN Job Description: - Assignment Length: 13 Weeks - Start Date: ASAP - Shift: 3x12 Night Shift - Years of Experience Required: 1 - First Timers Accepted: Yes - Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Skills Required: Per unit description - On-Call Requirements: No - Weekend Requirements: Coverage may be more frequent than every other weekend based on staffing needs - Floating Requirements: Yes, within lower acuity units, renal care, neuro, and med-surg - Block Schedule Accommodation: No - Local Candidates: Not accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from facility - Pending License Accepted: Yes, but must have AK RN license in hand for auto offer - RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis; all RTO must be included in submission - Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks; traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks Unit Information: - Stepdown unit from ICU with diverse patient populations - Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model utilized: - 1 bedside RN per patient - 1 Virtual RN - 1 CNA - RN Ratio: 1:4 - CNA Ratio: 1:6 Patient Population Includes: - 30% cardiac patients (CHF, MI, s/p TAVR, MVR, pacemaker, cardiac arrhythmias, drug load patients, ACS patients) - Respiratory patients (COVID, FLU, COPD, Asthma exacerbations, chronic home ventilators) - Overflow for neuro and renal patients - Complicated medical-surgical patients requiring enhanced monitoring (ETOH WD, GIB, etc.) Facility Information: - Type of Facility: Acute Hospital - Magnet Facility Status: Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma - Total Staffed Beds: 407 - Scrub Color: Provided - Charting System: Epic - Parking: Free Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
