Retail Development SpecialistThe Retail Development Specialist serves as a Company ambassador to support and service our National Accounts through merchandising displays, selling product, and educating and training sales associates within a designated, local territory.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.Inform accounts of new product launches, product features/benefits, campaigns/promotions, special ads, contests and incentives.Stay updated on watch setting instructions, functions, features, benefits, warrantiesProvide service support; adjust watch bands, replace batteriesMerchandise cases and top of counter displays, according to brand planograms to ensure stock is properly displayedManage back and under stockEnsure displays, watches and cases are cleanedEnsure all watches are correctly taggedOrder and distribute point-of-purchase materialsNegotiate for the best space and location, and secure all visual opportunitiesEnsure all point-of-purchase materials are properly placedQualifications and experienceExperience in account relationship management, a plusExperience in watch, jewelry or luxury industries, a plusExcellent interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to work well in a team environmentMust be available to work weekends during peak holidays and eventsMust be available for limited, required travel: customer meetings, trade shows, sales meetingsKnowledge of GoSpotCheck, a plusPhysical demandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
