Setting: Critical Access Hospital
Responsibilities: Providing emergency medicine coverage, inpatient rounding, observation care, and management of acute patient needs in a low-volume critical access setting
Required Procedures: Emergency Medicine Procedures & Inpatient Management
EMR System: TogetherCare (Epic)
Support Staff: APPs, RNs & CNA Support Team
Days Per Month: Average 3 24 Hour Shifts Per Month
On-Call/Weekends: In-House Coverage & Weekend Coverage Required
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified ABEM or FP/IM with Recent Emergency Medicine Experience
- Active Iowa License Required
- Clean Malpractice & Background History Required
