Position Summary:

The Sr Manager, Finance leads financial planning, pricing strategy, costing, RFP financial completion, and margin optimization. This role partners with commercial leadership to set pricing strategies and provides direction to the pricing team, who manage day-to-day pricing activities. The Director focuses on strategic financial leadership, profitability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide executive insights into financial performance, margins, and strategic opportunities.
• Build financial models for new products, pricing changes, investments, and business cases.
• Partner with operations, sales, and product teams on cost drivers and profitability.
• Partner with commercial leadership to set pricing strategies and guide the pricing team.
• Oversee strategic pricing initiatives, competitive analysis, and margin targets.
• Maintain costing models and conduct margin analysis across products and customers.
• Lead financial components of RFPs, ensuring accurate costing and competitive pricing.
• Deliver financial reporting and dashboards focused on performance and profitability.
• Cross functional collaboration with senior leaders to integrate financials into organizational planning and business decisions.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to foster a production team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience in pricing strategy, costing, margin management, or commercial finance.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or CPA.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, services, or product-based industries.
• Familiarity with BI tools and pricing software.
• Commodity experience, including understanding market fluctuations and cost impacts.
