Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantMom365 is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support our growing organization. This role is responsible for managing tax and compliance activities, supporting financial reporting, assisting with audits, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of regulatory filings and payments.The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working across multiple accounting functions while maintaining strict attention to detail and compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and file business licenses, registrations, and annual reports with federal, state, and local agenciesProvide supporting documentation and schedules for income tax preparationAssist with sales tax, business tax, and excise tax filings and complianceReview estimated tax payments, withholding calculations, and related filingsProcess timely payments to governmental agencies and other vendorsEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and requested documentationAssist in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsParticipate in annual financial audits and compliance reporting activitiesMaintain accurate accounting records and support continuous process improvementsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field requiredMinimum of 5 years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, Accounts Payable, and tax processesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and overall computer proficiencyExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyEffective time management and organizational skillsAbility to communicate professionally and effectively with internal stakeholders, external auditors, vendors, and regulatory agenciesWe're looking for a motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys collaborating with others to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
