About the Role

The Company is in need of an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide essential financial leadership during a transitional period. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all day-to-day accounting and finance operations, overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This role also involves managing cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. The Interim CFO will be expected to provide mentorship to the accounting team, partner with executive leadership to identify process improvements, and support system optimization and financial reporting enhancements. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA being preferred. A strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and internal controls is essential, as is previous experience in a senior finance role such as CFO or Controller. The ideal candidate will have experience leading accounting teams through organizational change, and experience with ERP implementation or optimization is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also required for this hands-on role, which is suited to a seasoned financial leader who is adept at stabilizing operations, improving processes, and leading finance teams through change.
