@Home Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to adult patients throughout Yonkers. This position focuses on supporting individuals who need functional rehabilitation to remain safe and independent in their homes.
This location offers enhanced earning potential and is ideal for clinicians looking to build a consistent, community-based caseload.

Compensation & Incentives:

• $500 bonus after 50 completed visits.
• Additional earning incentives available for this service area .

What You’ll Be Doing:

Functional Home Assessments:

• Evaluate patients’ ability to safely complete daily tasks within their living environment.
• Identify barriers related to mobility, setup, and routine function.

Skill Restoration & Training:

• Support patients with self-care tasks such as dressing, grooming, and bathing.
• Reinforce techniques that promote independence in daily routines. 

Therapeutic Interventions:

• Develop and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress.
• Use adaptive approaches to improve safety and functional performance. 

Caregiver & Support Education:

• Provide instruction to caregivers on safe assistance techniques.
• Ensure continuity of care between visits.

Clinical Documentation:

• Complete visit notes using an electronic EMR system. 
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines.

Work Structure & Environment:

Flexible Scheduling:

• Set your own availability and manage your caseload independently.

Community-Based Practice:

• Provide in-home care across a growing patient population in Yonkers.

Operational Support:

• Administrative coordination handled by the office team.

Scalable Caseload:

• Opportunity to increase visit volume based on availability and preference.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience with adult or geriatric populations preferred. 
• Strong clinical reasoning and adaptability in home environments. 
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role .
• Effective communication and patient engagement skills.
