Material Handler

Material HandlerKelly Services is hiring a Material Handler to prepare, package, and move materials and parts within a warehouse and production environment. This position will also pull raw materials, operate material-handling equipment and packaging machines, and accurately complete required paperwork.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and package parts for shipment.Pull raw materials needed for production.Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.Operate packaging equipment and machines.Load and unload materials from trucks and containers while preventing damage.Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.Organize inventory in designated storage locations.Maintain accurate records of materials and inventory locations.Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.Deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner.Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation.Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines.Promptly report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns.Assist with other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is a plus but is not required.Forklift experience is preferred; certification may be required.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer skills are helpful.Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
