Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care. There are 3 Cath Labs in the unit with a total of 20 staff members. The day shift consists of 8 RNs, 5 technicians, 2 lead technicians, and 1 clinical nurse coordinator. The patient ratio is 1:1, ensuring individualized attention to each patient. Common procedures performed include PCI, Structural Heart interventions, and diagnostic catheterizations. Ideal candidates will possess an energetic and positive demeanor. Teamwork and collaboration with physicians are essential in this role. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand their skill set in a supportive environment. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
