Step into a rewarding opportunity impacting the lives of students as a Special Education teacher in a supportive school environment near Springtown, TX. These full-time positions focus on working with students in life skills classrooms, providing individualized support and fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere. Immediate roles are available, with schedules running from 7:15 am to 3:30 pm.

Currently, two openings are available, one at the elementary level (Role A), and another serving high school students (Role B). Candidates with experience across multiple grade levels and life skills instruction are highly encouraged, as it's possible to transition from the elementary assignment to the high school classroom later in the year, providing continuity and expanded impact.

Desired Qualifications:

Certified Special Education teacher, skilled in life skills education
Experience working with students in K-2 and/or high school settings
Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
Adaptable and able to effectively communicate with diverse learners
Reliable, with a dedicated approach to classroom management and support

Primary Responsibilities:

Teach and support students in self-contained life skills classrooms (elementary and/or high school)
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs
Monitor progress and collect data for IEP goals
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize student growth
Provide academic, social, and life skills instruction to ensure student success
