$25 per hour + 8% commission on project profit

Kaminskiy Design & Remodeling is seeking an experienced, sales-driven Kitchen & Bath Designer to expand our kitchen and bath team.

If you can accurately measure a space, create beautiful and functional designs in 2020 Design , guide clients through selections, and turn consultations into signed projects, we want to hear from you.

You'll work alongside our existing Kitchen & Bath Designer, helping homeowners move from initial ideas through design, selections, and contract signing. Success in this role requires initiative, consistent follow-up, and the ability to close profitable remodeling projects.

What You'll Do

• Meet with homeowners to understand their project goals, style, budget, and timeline.
• Take accurate field measurements and document existing conditions.
• Develop kitchen and bath layouts, cabinetry plans, and renderings using 2020 Design.
• Guide clients through cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and finish selections.
• Coordinate pricing and product information with vendors and internal teams.
• Present designs and proposals, communicate value, address objections, and close sales.
• Proactively follow up with prospective clients and keep projects moving toward contract signing.
• Help clients make decisions that fit their budget while maintaining project profitability.
• Maintain accurate client records, design files, and selection documentation.
• Provide a thorough handoff to production and assist with design questions during construction.

What We're Looking For

• Previous kitchen and bath design experience.
• Proficiency in 2020 Design or Pro Kitchen—required.
• Ability to independently measure spaces and produce accurate layouts.
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry, materials, finishes, and kitchen and bath selections.
• Demonstrated sales and closing skills.
• Confidence discussing project budgets, pricing, and value.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and client communication.
• A collaborative approach and accountability for sales results.
• Ability to travel to client homes and project sites throughout San Diego County.

Compensation & Schedule

This position pays $25 per hour plus 8% commission on project profit . Hours vary based on business needs and workload; full-time hours are not guaranteed

There is six-figure total earning potential for a designer who consistently closes profitable projects. Actual earnings depend on hours worked, sales results, and project profitability; six-figure earnings are not guaranteed.
