Senior Interior Designer
Allito Spaces is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our small, growing studio in San Diego. We're looking for an experienced designer with strong creative instincts, solid technical and construction knowledge, and the ability to confidently take a project from concept through installation. You'll work collaboratively with our design team across residential renovations, new builds, and furnishing projects. Depending on the project, you may develop the creative direction, collaborate on the vision, or take an established concept and bring it to life. You'll be involved in:
- Developing design concepts, space plans, material palettes, furnishings, lighting, and custom details
- Designing kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, and other construction-heavy spaces
- Creating and reviewing construction drawings, elevations, lighting plans, and design documentation
- Sourcing and specifying finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and materials
- Communicating with clients, contractors, architects, vendors, and trades
- Attending site meetings and confidently working through construction and design questions
- Managing project details from design development through installation
- Pivoting as projects evolve and jumping in wherever needed as part of a small studio
