Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Coordinator for an opportunity in Canonsburg area. This in-office HR Coordinator role is ideal for an human resources professional who wants hands-on exposure across onboarding, payroll support, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, compliance, employee records, and broader People Operations projects.

This opportunity is a strong fit for someone who enjoys organized, detail-focused work and wants to build practical HR experience in a collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources, supportive team interaction, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful employee lifecycle processes. Success in this position will come from being resourceful, proactive, comfortable using training materials and prior documentation, and able to manage recurring responsibilities with limited day-to-day direction.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, first day orientation support, HR system updates, and follow-up on required onboarding items.
- Maintain HR spreadsheets, trackers, employee records, HRIS data, OneDrive folders, confidential personnel files, and other HR documentation.
- Assist with payroll administration, benefits updates, audits, compliance training distribution, I-9 audit support, reporting, invoicing, and newsletter creation.
- Support recruiting activities, including reference checks, interview scheduling, candidate documentation, recruiting trackers, and occasional phone screens.
- Assist with employee changes and offboarding tasks, including preparing termination letters and ensuring personnel files are accurate and complete.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the People Operations team while helping improve HR processes, project workflows, and documentation practices.
