Key Qualifications:

• Active Nevada School Psychologist license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Ability to travel to three nearby school sites within the assignment
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of best practices in assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling

Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans and interventions
• Deliver direct counseling and supportive services for students
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and crisis response efforts
• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Serve as a resource for school staff regarding mental health, behavioral strategies, and classroom management

Assignment Details:

• Contract position, available full-time or part-time
• Service period from August 10 through May 21, 2027
• In-person work required (remote options not currently available)
• Setting includes three schools serving K-12th grade in the Henderson area
