Although our work setting is remote, you will be part of a dynamic outpatient office community, allowing for collaboration, support, and occasional team meetings. Our seamless use of telehealth technology ensures our therapists can reach clients effectively and maintain strong relationships. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with each client to foster a safe therapeutic environment. Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose various mental health disorders in individuals, couples, and families. Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each patient. Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals and couples, employing various therapeutic techniques and methodologies. Regularly meet with clients to provide ongoing counseling and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on progress assessments. Conduct follow-up assessments and document patient progress in compliance with organizational policies. Referring clients to additional specialists when necessary to ensure a holistic approach to their mental health treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients served at Tower Mental Healthcare Center range from individuals facing stress and anxiety to couples dealing with relationship challenges and families needing support. Special attention is given to those struggling with mental health disorders and those seeking to improve their overall well-being. We also manage a significant number of clients with co-occurring disorders, requiring specialized knowledge and treatment methods. Qualifications A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada. A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. Strong therapeutic skills that demonstrate empathy, active listening, and the ability to motivate clients toward positive change. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to maintain clear documentation and reporting. A strong ethical foundation and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Preferred Experience Demonstrated experience in addiction counseling, with knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competence. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing treatment plans that result in positive therapeutic outcomes. Compensation and Benefits A competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 based on qualifications and experience.
