Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and deliver short-term psychotherapy as part of ambulatory mental health services, employing varied modalities like case management, treatment planning, and interventions. Engage in collaborative care with a licensed psychologist, nurse practitioner, or physician to provide clinical services tailored to individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, and family therapy, to address clients' diverse mental health needs. Assess the clinical needs of clients and determine the appropriate level of care while coordinating necessary therapeutic actions and resources. Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and prepare reports, while seeking relevant information from various stakeholders with client consent. Participate actively in clinical meetings, share insights on treatment strategies, and contribute to departmental planning and quality assurance initiatives. Patient Population / Client Focus The LMFTs at Conscious Core Counseling Center serve a diverse client population, addressing mental health concerns that primarily involve individuals, families, and groups, including those with dual diagnoses. Qualifications A valid LMFT license to practice in the state of California or a Psy.D. A master's or doctoral level degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution. A minimum of two years of experience providing psychotherapy services, preferably in outpatient or community mental health settings. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems, with a prior track record of successful remote counseling. Preferred Experience Experience in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored for individual and group therapies. Background in working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to enhance comprehensive client care. Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and managing dual diagnosis cases, contributing to a holistic treatment approach. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
