Housekeeper – Hampton Inn Gulfport (Opening April 2026) Location: 400 Beach Blvd, Gulfport, Mississippi, 39507 Company: A&R Group Job Type: Full‑time & Part‑time | Hourly, Non‑Exempt NOW HIRING: HOUSEKEEPERS Role Overview The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas according to Hilton and A&R Group standards. This position ensures a clean, safe, and inviting environment that enhances the guest experience and supports the hotel’s reputation for quality. Key Responsibilities Retrieve supplies from storerooms and maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cart Clean windows, doors, walls, fixtures, and public areas, including hard‑to‑reach spaces Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, and mirrors Replace towels, amenities, and guestroom supplies; restock literature and stationery Wash hard floor surfaces by hand to remove dirt and stains Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, vents, and ceiling corners Strip and remake beds with fresh linens; inspect bedding and mattresses for cleanliness Clean and restock closets with hangers, blankets, and pillows Vacuum guest rooms, hallways, and public areas; move furniture as needed Inspect locks, equipment, and room features; report maintenance issues promptly Maintain custody of keys, equipment, and supplies at all times Report missing items, damage, or safety hazards to the Supervisor Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor Follow all Hilton brand standards, A&R policies, and safety procedures Serve as a Brand Ambassador for A&R Group’s culture, mission, and values Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required Ability to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Basic English comprehension for labels, instructions, and guest interactions Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform repetitive arm and hand movements Professional, ethical, and reliable Excellent customer‑service skills Quick learner with a strong work ethic Able to work independently and as part of a team Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Repetitive movements of shoulders, elbows, and hands Ability to push, pull, and carry moderate weight Use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools Why Work for A&R Group?
