Quick Facts: Location: 1200 North Beaver Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 Start Date: 10/26/2026 End Date: 01/25/2027 Shift: Night shift, 19:00 – 07:00 (5x8-hour shifts weekly) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: AZ license or IMLC LOQ, ACLS, Board Certified/Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospitalist experience EMR: Cerner Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $211.19 Benefits Include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Supportive, dedicated team available 24/7 Paid sick leave in accordance with all applicable laws What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient care for a diverse patient population of all ages in a busy hospital setting Manage patient admissions and cross-cover responsibilities during your shift, adhering to hospital protocols Work collaboratively with ICU staff and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize Cerner EMR to document all patient encounters efficiently Accept hospital admissions from the on-duty ICU team and participate in patient safety and risk assessments Support the hospital’s closed ICU through patient management and clinical decision-making What You Need: Current AZ medical license or IMLC LOQ Board certification or eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine ACLS certification (required) Minimum of 2 years of recent hospitalist experience Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This hospitalist role within a 270-bed hospital involves managing inpatient care during night shifts. You will work alongside a dedicated team supporting the hospital’s closed ICU and cross-cover responsibilities, ensuring quality care across a varied patient demographic.
