Shifts: Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6pm; evening 1:30-10pm, 1-2 nights a week possible; Manager needs candidates available for a 2:30-11 pm shift

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a Contract to Hire position in Warwick, RI. This role involves providing essential pharmacy services in a dynamic work environment, focusing on patient medication compliance and overseeing medication dispensing processes. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

Accept and dispense prescription medications
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
Ensure supply of medicines is within legal requirements
Maintain accurate confidential patient records
Advise patients on medicine usage and potential reactions
Consult on prescription and non-prescription medication details
Provide patient services like smoking cessation and blood pressure management
Educate on medical device usage
Compound medications for external or internal use
Prepare sterile solutions
Supervise pharmacy staff
Maintain pharmaceutical inventory
Identify drug-related problems and coordinate with healthcare practitioners
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy interns

Requirements of the Pharmacist

Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
Licensed by the state pharmacy board
