Job Duties

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including complete physical assessments and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging reports and laboratory results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, from preparing surgical rooms to ensuring optimal patient positioning and handling surgical instruments during operations
• Offer exceptional care before and after surgery, which involves medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and comprehensive patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly desirable

Certifications Required

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Appropriate state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
