Core Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough assessments of patients, conducting physical examinations and meticulously reviewing their medical histories
• Assist with the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical issues through analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work in partnership with surgeons, devising and implementing tailored surgical plans for each patient
• Provide support during operations by preparing environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and expertly passing instruments as needed
• Offer outstanding care pre- and post-surgery, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and ensuring patients are well-informed

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical specialties

Certifications Needed

• Hold a current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant

Required Skills
