Job Description The Greer Group is recruiting a Bilingual Patient Access Specialist for our client in Raleigh.
This is a long term temporary position through June 2027 with the possibility to be further extended!

- Monday -Friday, 8: 00 AM -5: 00 PM.
- Assists patients during the onsite registration and arrival processes for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
- Provides excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to issues as needed in a dynamic work environment.
- Gathers patient demographic information reviews the insurance and medical information, ensures managed care requirements are met, collects patient liabilities when necessary, and complies with regulatory guidelines.
- Assists in checking patients in and out for appointments and scheduling follow-up care when needed.
- Assist with other administrative duties, including referral coordination.
- Responds to telephone inquiries from patients with sensitivity and professionalism.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of job related experience.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with tact and discretion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in addition to strong presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with ability to communicate tactfully in stressful situations.
- Complete a background check.
- Prior customer service and data entry skills.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English!
