This engineer will contribute directly to our core SDK products, designing and implementing new capabilities, improving cross-platform consistency and reliability, and supporting integrations with major video platforms and applications.The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on development experience with at least one major client platform: Web/JavaScript, iOS/tvOS, or Android. Experience with Connected TV platforms, video streaming, advertising technology, or SDK development is a strong plus.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain FreeWheel's AdManager SDKs across Web, iOS/tvOS, Android, and Connected TV platforms.Design stable, well-documented APIs that enable video players and applications to integrate with FreeWheel services.Collaborate with Product Management, QA, Solutions Engineering, and other engineering teams to translate product and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, automated testing, and release activities.Improve SDK performance, reliability, test coverage, observability, and developer experience.Support customers and internal teams with complex player integrations and production issues when needed.Mentor and collaborate with other engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and knowledge sharing.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
