Savin Engineers is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil/Environmental Design Project Manager to lead and oversee civil and environmental engineering projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and environmental design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Collaborate with the project team in supervising design with a timely response to the submittal schedule.

·       Develop and oversee all engineering drawings and specifications.

·       Attend project meetings with client organizations.

·       Communicate with clients regarding technical aspects of project requirements.

• Assist with site inspections for design.

·       Create, execute, and revise project work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

·       Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.

·       Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. 

·       Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed.

 

Qualifications:

·       BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering

·       Professional Engineer (NYS preferred)

·       10+ years of design and project management experience

·       Strong written and oral communication skills

·       Knowledge of NYS Building Codes and Ten States Standards
