Role and Responsibilities Welcome members and nonmembers while creating a warm, seamless, and memorable experience. Process member transactions and maintain accurate electronic records and documentation. Open, close, service, and maintain all types of member accounts. Maintain an accurate and balanced cash drawer. Interview, originate, process, and close consumer loans while following established approval, counteroffer, referral, and denial procedures. Communicate with members throughout the loan process and provide timely, knowledgeable responses to inquiries. Build trusted, long-term member relationships through proactive service, financial education, referrals, and product recommendations. Achieve established lending, deposit, sales, and referral goals while supporting branch and credit union objectives. Educate members on financial products and services to help them achieve short- and long-term financial goals. Collaborate with team members and keep management informed of significant activities, concerns, and opportunities. Maintain current knowledge of credit union products, services, systems, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and member identification requirements. Represent Trius professionally while supporting a positive, productive, and accountable team environment. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Follow all credit union security procedures. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Passion for providing exceptional, solution-focused member service. Strong communication, active listening, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to demonstrate empathy and make non-judgmental, informed decisions. Confident communicating with a sales and service mindset and financial fluency. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented with strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to take ownership, exercise sound judgment, and respond effectively to change. Professional, positive, and enthusiastic approach with a commitment to representing the credit union well. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with members and team members. Comfortable receiving and applying constructive feedback.
