Automation Sales Specialist

Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

Manage, develop, and expand a sales territory of existing customers and identify new customers and opportunities.

Develop and follow a territory sales plan that aligns with growth forecasts and sales goals.

Build successful internal and external customer relationships.

Be part of a team that effectively utilizes Company resources and shares leads with other sales colleagues.

Work independently without daily supervision, but remain responsive to Company management requests for assignments and account intelligence.

Facilitate the sales forecast and input to the company's CRM system.

Become very knowledgeable on assigned product lines, striving to become a resource of solutions for assigned customers.

Negotiate win-win contracts that make good business sense for the Company and our customers.

Travel throughout the assigned territory with overnight travel as required.

Requirements:

2-5 years of automation & controls outside sales experience with application knowledge of pneumatics, electronics (controls) and aluminum framing products.

An engineering degree is preferred or commensurate experience.

Strong technical and communication skills both written and verbal.

Proven track recordcandidate has successfully demonstrated technical know-how in previous job or project assignments.

Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, contact management/CRM software.

Mechanical and/or electro-mechanical aptitude.
