OSP Engineering Manager

Job Details Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of OSP engineering, including design, construction, and maintenance of the outside plant network. Ensure quality assurance and control in all OSP engineering projects. Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of OSP engineers. Manage the deployment of FTTH and FTTB networks. Collaborate with other departments to integrate OSP engineering activities. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve OSP engineering efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local telecommunications regulations. Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the resolution of complex OSP engineering issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in OSP engineering, focusing on FTTH and FTTB networks. Proven experience managing a team of engineers and delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles and practices. Excellent understanding of telecommunications regulations and standards. Strong technical skills, with the ability to solve complex OSP engineering problems. Excellent leadership and team‑management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in the use of computer software applications, including CAD and GIS.
