We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:****Job Description Summary:**CWOCN certification required## Position Responsibilities* Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients and their families.* Perform stoma site marking and assessment.* Manage and assess stoma complications and provide appropriate interventions.* Provide wound care and skin care around the stoma site.* Educate patients on ostomy care products and their proper usage.* Develop individualized care plans for patients with ostomies.* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.* Conduct routine follow-up visits with patients to monitor progress and address concerns.* Offer psychological and emotional support to patients adjusting to life with an ostomy.* Educate healthcare staff on best practices for ostomy care.* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification + Current licensure in the State of Florida. CWOCN certification required.* ### Education + Bachelors Degree in Nursing required.* ### Experience + Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
