They ensure that both medical and emotional needs are met throughout the birthing process. Provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages. Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth. Assess patients for potential high‑risk problems. Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
