Production Worker

This role involves operating large industrial blenders and related equipment to mix products safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. You will perform basic machine operation, handle heavy materials, and transfer blended product into smaller containers while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate large industrial blenders to mix product according to established procedures and specifications.
• Perform basic machine operation tasks, including starting, stopping, and monitoring equipment during production runs.
• Empty blender vats into smaller containers safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and transfer of materials.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds throughout the workday, using safe lifting techniques.
• Follow production instructions and safety guidelines to maintain consistent product quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and surrounding workspaces as needed.
• Assist with general labor tasks in the production area as required to support overall manufacturing operations.
• Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or production problems to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift and carry 60–100 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Experience performing heavy lifting in a production or general labor environment.
• Ability to operate basic production machinery and follow operating procedures.
• Capability to work safely around large industrial equipment and moving machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in production, general labor, or similar industrial roles.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to workplace procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment where you will work around large industrial blenders and production equipment. The role follows set weekday shifts with a first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and a second shift from 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m., with a light possibility of overtime after the shift. There are no weekend shifts. Candidates are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes or boots suitable for an industrial setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
