Scarbro Design is growing, and we’re looking for a talented, creative, and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are a boutique interior design firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial interiors throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond. Our projects range from full-scale renovations and new construction to furnishings, hospitality, and commercial spaces. THE ROLE

WE’R HIRING | JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER Scarbro Design is growing, and we’re looking for a talented, creative, and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are a boutique interior design firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial interiors throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond. Our projects range from full-scale renovations and new construction to furnishings, hospitality, and commercial spaces. We’re looking for someone who genuinelyloves design—someone who gets excited about finding the perfect material, lighting fixture, piece of furniture, or unexpected detail that brings a space to life. THE ROLE You’ll work closely with our Principal Designer to help take projects from initial concept through design development, documentation, procurement, and installation. This is a hands-on design position with the opportunity to work on beautiful projects and grow alongside our firm. WHAT YOU’LL DO Research and develop design concepts and inspiration Source furniture, lighting, plumbing, tile, stone, hardware, wallpaper, rugs, art, and accessories Create material palettes and finish selections Assist with space planning and furniture layouts Create polished client presentations and design boards in Canva Assist with plans, elevations, RCPs, cabinetry drawings, and other design documentation Coordinate with our outsourced drafting and rendering partners Request and organize samples Research product specifications, pricing, availability, and lead times Prepare selections for internal design review Participate in client presentations, showroom visits, and site meetings Assist with installations and final styling Keep project selections and design information organized within our systems WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR You are: Creative and naturally inspired by interiors Excited to bring ideas to the table Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable taking creative direction and developing it further Able to work on multiple projects at different stages Proactive—you look for solutions instead of waiting to be told every next step Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Professional and confident communicating with clients and vendors Interested in both the creative AND technical sides of interior design Eager to learn and grow within a boutique design firm EXPERIENCE + SKILLS Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field preferred 1–3 years of interior design experience preferred Revit experience strongly preferred Canva proficiency Strong space-planning skills Understanding of interior finishes, furnishings, lighting, and materials Ability to read architectural plans and elevations Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail Experience with Mydoma or similar interior design/project management software is a plus, but we can teach our systems. POSITION Junior Interior Designer St. Petersburg, Florida Full-time | 40 hours per week Hybrid position 2 weeks PTO 4 paid holidays 90-day performance review WHY SCARBRO DESIGN?
