This position is also responsible for expediting shortages and creating, updating, and maintaining shop paper.Essential FunctionsMonitor floor for shortagesExpedite shortages through purchasing, weld, and fabricationCorrect Bill of Materials (BOM) through the BOM query systemExercise skills in location managementGather components and parts needed for different stages of assembly (kitting)Process and reconcile inventoryPossess the ability to read work orders/dispatch reports and follow oral instructionDetermine root cause for shortagesAssemble shop paper including build book & work order batchingResponsible for Change Order (PCO) distributionFollow up on any issuesRaise potential issues to the appropriate level for dispositionMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsDemonstrate effective interpersonal communication skillsRegular attendance requiredAll other duties and responsibilities that are assignedMinimum QualificationsSix months of previous manufacturing experiencePreferred Qualifications to complete Essential FunctionsAbility to use a tape measureAbility to solve problems quickly and efficientlyPossess strong organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelPossess excellent written and verbal communication skillsOther Physical Requirements*All positions require the ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
