Details Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, including pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) Typical patient ratio of 1:4-6 Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Uses Epic EMR system May be required to float within scope to other units or sister facilities within a 75-mile radius based on facility needs Block scheduling requests are not accommodated Requirements Active RN license, Compact or OK State required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS EKG Course/Telemetry test certification required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) required Epic charting experience required 2 supervisory references required for consideration Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address dated within the last 3 months required Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of rapid response/code teams Additional clinical skills utilized may include IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, wound care, respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, oxygen administration), and feeding tube management Previous charge experience preferred Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted Floating required to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum 1-year separation from the health system to be eligible First-time travelers are not accepted for this position American Traveler Job ID P-732132.
