Details Hospital-based Med/Surg unit on 3rd Floor Overflow Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week) May be floated to any area of the hospital Med/Surg and step-down experience required Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma or compact eNLC) required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year RN experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills required Additional Information Provide nursing care to patients with a range of health conditions from simple to complex Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to treatments and interventions Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products as prescribed Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Collaborate with patients and families on care plans and discharge planning Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered Travelers may extend a contract one time for a maximum of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced, with no flexibility for start date pushes Onboarding requirements, including background checks and drug screening, must begin immediately upon offer American Traveler Job ID P-748885.
