Manager, Financial Systems

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc

Manager of financial systems responsible for administering and supporting enterprise Essbase applications for corporate financial reporting, close processes, and management reporting. Reports to Director of Financial Applications and serves as subject matter expert for Essbase configurations, troubleshooting, and business transaction support.

Responsibilities

Administer and support enterprise Essbase applications for corporate reporting and financial close
Maintain Essbase configurations including dimensions, hierarchies, calculations, and data load rules
Serve as primary escalation point during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles
Investigate and resolve complex application, data, and reporting issues independently
Support corporate actions by managing metadata, hierarchy, and integration changes

Requirements

Strong Essbase knowledge and hands-on application experience
Understanding of financial reporting processes and data management
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently
Experience with application configuration, metadata, hierarchies, and calculations
Knowledge of data load rules, integrations, and reporting solutions
Change management and control procedure compliance experience
