About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Engineering to spearhead the technical vision, architecture, and execution as the organization expands its platform and launches standalone AI products. The successful candidate will be a key player in setting long-term technical direction, ensuring the cohesion between the core data platform and the AI product portfolio, and guiding teams toward an AI-centric development environment. This role demands a hands-on leader with practical experience in AI systems, a proven track record in leading engineering organizations, and the ability to make and own architectural decisions for complex, data-driven systems. The VP will also be responsible for leading a cross-functional team, providing thought leadership, and being the public face of the company's technology and data science. Applicants for the VP, Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of practical, real-world experience with AI systems, significant experience in a hands-on leadership capacity within software, platform, or data engineering, and a demonstrated ability to own and evolve technical roadmaps. The role requires a leader who is comfortable with modern cloud platforms and distributed systems, and who can balance speed, reliability, and maintainability in architecture decisions. The ideal candidate will be a clear and direct communicator, with a proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing technical teams.
