Express Employment Professionals in Sycamore IL is currently seeking a detail-oriented individual for a long term contract SAP Data Entry / Clerical Support opportunity with a distribution and operations team in Rockford, IL.

**Position Overview

**

This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoy working with data, systems, and transactional processing.Position OverviewIn this role, you will support daily transactional processing during a system transition from ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA. Responsibilities will include entering and validating inventory, order, and purchasing transactions to ensure smooth operations across multiple facilities. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as the information processed directly impacts order fulfillment and supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities¨NBSP;

• Process and enter transactions in both ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA systems

• Typing in data and capture and enter new and updated provided by customer and account information.

• Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.

• Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.

• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.

• Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1–3 years of clerical, administrative, or data entry experience preferred

• SAP experience (ECC6 and/or S/4HANA) is a plus, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to follow defined procedures and work within structured systems

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to work independently and handle repetitive tasks consistently
