Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team in Covington, KY. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing ingredients and maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring according to recipes and instructions.
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and safely.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Support the kitchen team in daily operations to meet service demands.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
