Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM. The age group and caseload sizes will vary, providing a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with students from kindergarten through high school.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Illinois SLP credentials
• Prior experience working within school settings preferred
• Knowledge and application of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Experience with low-incidence programming highly valued
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy services to students K-12
• Use AAC and other adaptive technology as appropriate for student needs
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
• Serve as an active participant in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers
• Adapt materials and approaches to suit diverse student populations
