This position is part of the Office of Dr. Jennifer Brown partnering with Allied Digestive Health and is located in Nutley, NJ. It is a Part Time Physician Assistant outpatient role. Summary Manage health problems and coordinate care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with standards of care including assessment, diagnosis, development of plan, implementation, evaluation, and clinical management. Essential Skills Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients. Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Comfortable multitasking with sharp attention to detail. Accurately perform duties in a timely and efficient manner. Exemplary patient service skills and courteousness. Excellent interpersonal skills and patience under stressful situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills: Electronic medical records, MS Office. Strong time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA laws and safeguards, and ability to always follow these guidelines. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
